Judaism and Islam have many commonalities. In this blog, I'm going to tell you about the 5 most common values shared by the two religions?
1. Monotheistic Abrahamic religions.
Both
Islam and Judaism are monotheistic Abrahamic religions.
They both believed in one God.
2. Both Beliefs in the Holy Books
Just like Jews hold the Torah text sacred, Muslims hold the Quran Kareem sacred. Muslims also recognize prophets like Moses, Elijah, and Jesus.
3. Both Jews & Muslims are Religious
in Nature.
Both
Jews and Muslims pray multiple times a day. Jews pray 3 times a day, facing in
the direction of Jerusalem and Muslims pray 5 times a day, praying in the direction of Mecca.
4. Charity is very important in both Religions.
Charity basic practice in both religions to willingly give to those who need your community.
For Muslims and for Jews, fasting days span the calendar.
5. Ramadan vs Yom Kippur.
Muslims
fast or the month of Ramadan, while Jews have 6 fast days in the year,
for example, on Yom Kippur. Both Judaism and Islam have special dietary
laws. In Judaism, permitted foods are called Kosher and in Islam, Halal.
Both religions forbid eating pork.
Even
though we can see that Jews and Muslims have quite a lot in common but unfortunately
they both can’t work towards a bright future together. The reason both religions
are full of lazy and violent people.
